VTC driver ready for the first ride — Sigma VTC

Step 1

Before you go

Your vehicle is your business card. Before every shift, make sure it is spotless: exterior washed, interior tidy, neutral scent, and a comfortable temperature.

Confirm that your driver profile is approved in the app and all documents are up to date. Charge your phone and check your internet connection.

Wear a professional, well-groomed outfit — a clean, pressed shirt is all you need. The goal is to inspire trust at first sight.

Spotless vehicle

A quick vacuum, clean windows, and a subtle air freshener go a long way.

Amenities ready

Charging cables (Lightning, USB-C), bottled water, and candy for your passengers.

Step 2

Arriving at the pickup point

Punctuality is the foundation of professionalism. Arrive a few minutes early and park safely.

Confirm your arrival through the app so the passenger is notified. Greet them by the first name shown in the app — don't just ask 'is that you?'.

Safe parking

Park in a legal, safe spot even if it means walking a few meters.

Proactive contact

If the passenger is hard to locate, call with a clear, polite message.

Step 3

The welcome that makes the difference

Greet your passenger with a natural smile and use their first name. Offer to help with luggage and hold the door open if possible.

Confirm the destination and announce the estimated travel time. This simple gesture shows you are organized and attentive.

85% of clients say the interaction with the driver influences their loyalty to the service. A personalized welcome turns a simple ride into a premium experience.

Step 4

During the ride

Drive smoothly, safely, and calmly. Avoid harsh acceleration and sudden braking — your passengers will appreciate the comfort.

Read the passenger's cues: if they engage in conversation, be attentive. If they prefer silence, respect it. Offer to adjust the music and temperature.

If something unexpected happens (traffic jam, detour), communicate clearly: explain the situation and suggest an alternative route if needed.

Smooth driving

Anticipate traffic lights and slowdowns for a jolt-free ride.

Set the mood

Soft background music by default. Ask the passenger about their preferences when appropriate.

Step 5

End of the ride

Once at the destination, park safely and help the passenger collect their belongings. Check the back seat for forgotten items.

Thank them sincerely and wish them a good day or evening. A final professional touch leaves a lasting impression.

Flawless end-to-end service encourages positive reviews, tips, and most importantly, repeat customers.
